Redmi has introduced a new variant to its Note 14 lineup in India — the Redmi Note 14 SE 5G. While not a new device altogether, the SE model brings a fresh Crimson Art colourway and a more attractive price tag of Rs 14,999, making it Rs 2,000 cheaper than the standard Note 14 — and up to Rs 3,000 less with bank offers.

Pricing and availability

The Redmi Note 14 SE is available in a single 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration and will go on sale from August 7 via Flipkart, Mi.com, and authorised retail outlets. Buyers using select bank cards can avail an instant Rs 1,000 discount at checkout.

Specifications and features

The Note 14 SE shares its internals with the standard Note 14, including a 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display supporting up to 120Hz refresh rate and 2,100 nits peak brightness, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, paired with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via microSD. It runs on HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, and packs a 5,110mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

In the camera department, the device features a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with an f/1.5 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. A 20MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.

With its vibrant new look and reduced price, the Redmi Note 14 SE aims to offer a strong value proposition in the mid-range 5G smartphone segment.
