Motorola has unveiled its most advanced flip phone yet, the razr 60 Ultra, in India. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the new flagship promises a blend of cutting-edge performance, premium design, and a suite of AI-driven features designed to elevate user experience.

At the heart of the razr 60 Ultra is a 7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a buttery smooth 165Hz refresh rate and an eye-searing peak brightness of 4,500 nits. On the outside, users get a 4-inch pOLED cover screen, protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic, which Motorola touts as the largest external display ever on a flip phone. The phone’s stainless steel hinge, claimed to be the most durable in the world, has been tested for 800,000 flips, according to the company.

Photography enthusiasts will find a triple camera setup featuring 50MP primary and ultrawide sensors, along with a 50MP front shooter. Each lens is supported by Moto AI and boasts Pantone Validated colour accuracy, ensuring photos stay true to life.

Running on Android 15 out of the box, Motorola promises three years of OS updates and four years of security patches. The razr 60 Ultra also introduces several AI enhancements, including AI Image Studio, Catch Me Up, Remember, and the all-new ‘Look & Talk’ feature, which lets users engage with the phone simply by glancing at it.

In terms of design, the razr 60 Ultra arrives in Alcantara real wood and leather-inspired finishes, available in Scarab, Mountain Trail, and Rio Red. The handset sports 20% narrower bezels and is IP48-rated for dust and water resistance, capable of withstanding depths of up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes.

The Motorola razr 60 Ultra will be offered in a single 16GB/512GB configuration, priced at Rs 99,999, and will go on sale starting May 21 across Amazon, Reliance Digital stores, Motorola’s official website, and select offline retailers.
