Itel has introduced its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Itel A90, priced from Rs 6,499. Aimed at users seeking modern features without a hefty price tag, the A90 brings several premium-like capabilities to the entry-level segment.
Among its standout features is Aivana 2.0, Itel’s upgraded AI assistant. The company claims Aivana 2.0 can handle a range of tasks, including answering questions from documents, describing images, initiating WhatsApp calls, and solving mathematical problems — a rare offering in budget smartphones.
The A90 sports a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, alongside a Dynamic Bar and Always-on Display for enhanced notification visibility. It runs on the octa-core T7100 processor and ships with Android 14 Go Edition. Users can access up to 12GB RAM through memory fusion (4GB physical + 8GB virtual), and choose between 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.
In terms of photography, the phone features a 13MP rear camera with advanced image processing and a sliding zoom control, while an 8MP front camera caters to selfies and video calls. Audio quality is bolstered by DTS sound technology.

Built for durability, the A90 carries an IP54 rating, offering resistance to dust and water splashes. It also includes both face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security. The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery, supports 15W charging, and comes with a 10W charger in the box.
To sweeten the deal, itel is offering a free screen replacement within 100 days of purchase and a three-month JioSaavn Pro subscription at no additional cost.
The Itel A90 is available in two colour variants: Starlit Black and Space Titanium.
