Motorola is gearing up to unveil the next generation of its Razr flip-style foldables, with the company teasing the launch in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on April 10. The teaser suggests that the upcoming Motorola Razr 60 series will comprise three models, although detailed specifications remain under wraps for now. The official unveiling is scheduled for April 24 in the United States, with the India launch expected to follow a few weeks later.

In 2024, Motorola introduced two flip phones — the Razr 50 Ultra and the Razr 50 — both of which were well-received for their design and performance. This year, the brand is expected to launch successors to those devices, likely named the Razr 60 Ultra and Razr 60. Additionally, a third model is anticipated, potentially targeting a more budget-conscious segment of the market.

Motorola’s Razr series has carved a niche in the competitive foldable segment, thanks to features such as a large external display, a near-stock Android experience, and refined foldable technology with minimal hinge gaps and reduced screen creasing.

With over five years of experience in foldable devices, Motorola is expected to retain the familiar design language of its predecessors while offering upgraded hardware and software. The upcoming Razr 60 series may also debut new AI-powered features, further enhancing the user experience.
