Samsung launches Galaxy F17 5G with triple rear camera

Samsung has expanded its mid-range portfolio in India with the launch of the Galaxy F17 5G. The smartphone features an FHD+ AMOLED display, 5,000mAh battery, and IP54 rating, and will compete with Realme P3, Infinix Note 50s and Vivo T4x in the sub- Rs 15,000 segment.

The Galaxy F17 5G is priced at Rs 14,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model, while the 6GB RAM variant with the same storage is listed at Rs 15,999. Samsung is offering a launch discount of Rs 500 on HDFC Bank card and UPI payments. The phone will be available from Friday on Samsung’s online store, Flipkart and across retail outlets in two colour options — Violet Pop and Neo Black.

Specifications

The device sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. At 7.5mm thickness and 192g weight, the handset carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.

It is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1330 processor paired with Mali-G68 MP2 GPU, with RAM options of 4GB and 6GB. Storage is fixed at 128GB but expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.

For imaging, the Galaxy F17 5G offers a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, a 13MP sensor is housed for selfies and video calls.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. It runs on OneUI 7, based on Android 15, with Samsung promising six years of OS and security updates.
