Key Features of One UI 7

One UI 7 introduces a redesigned home screen, updated widgets, and a customisable lock screen. The Now Bar will provide real-time updates directly on the lock screen without unlocking the phone.

AI-based features include AI Select, which allows saving videos as GIFs, and Writing Assist for text formatting and summarisation. Drawing Assist lets users create images using text and pictures, while Audio Eraser removes background noise from videos.

Google Gemini integration adds voice-based search and commands, while natural language search in Settings makes it easier to adjust device preferences.

The update is also expected to introduce a new video recording feature, allowing the Galaxy S24 series to capture LOG (logarithmic footage) videos. This will enable the camera to capture a wider dynamic range, preserving details in both dark and bright areas.
