Samsung One UI 7: Samsung has announced that the Android 15-based One UI 7 update will begin rolling out globally from April 7. The update will first be available for the Galaxy S24 series and will gradually extend to other Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

Samsung’s One UI 7 update will launch on April 7, starting with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and the Galaxy Tab S10 and Tab S9 series. More Galaxy devices will receive the update in the following weeks.

Key Features of One UI 7
One UI 7 introduces a redesigned home screen, updated widgets, and a customisable lock screen. The Now Bar will provide real-time updates directly on the lock screen without unlocking the phone.
AI-based features include AI Select, which allows saving videos as GIFs, and Writing Assist for text formatting and summarisation. Drawing Assist lets users create images using text and pictures, while Audio Eraser removes background noise from videos.

Google Gemini integration adds voice-based search and commands, while natural language search in Settings makes it easier to adjust device preferences.
The update is also expected to introduce a new video recording feature, allowing the Galaxy S24 series to capture LOG (logarithmic footage) videos. This will enable the camera to capture a wider dynamic range, preserving details in both dark and bright areas.
