
Vivo has unveiled its latest budget 5G smartphone, the Vivo Y19 5G, as part of its expanding Y-series in India. Designed for affordability without compromising on key features, the Y19 5G aims to deliver smooth performance, a long-lasting battery, and enhanced photography tools for users on a budget.
Display and Design
The Vivo Y19 5G sports a 6.74-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, offering a responsive and fluid viewing experience. The display, which adopts a waterdrop notch design, is TÜV Rheinland certified to reduce blue light, helping minimise eye strain during prolonged use. Aesthetically, the phone features a metallic matte frame and a Rainbow Crystal Texture finish.

It also boasts an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, and has received the Swiss SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance Certification for added durability.
Camera Capabilities
The device is equipped with a 13MP AI-backed rear camera, supporting Night, Portrait, and Pro shooting modes. AI features such as AI Erase and AI Photo Enhance aim to improve photo clarity and user convenience. On the front, a 5MP selfie camera also supports Portrait and Night modes for optimised low-light selfies.
Performance and Battery
Powering the handset is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It runs on Android 15, layered with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 15. The device packs a 5,500mAh battery with 15W charging support, enhanced by the Smart Charging Engine 2.0 for efficient power management.

The Vivo Y19 5G is offered in two colour variants—Titanium Silver and Majestic Green. Pricing is as follows:

Rs 12,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model
