Renowned for her nostalgic music and lyrical deftness, Aditi Dot has captured the hearts of many with her hits “Everybody Dances to Techno” and “Asymmetrical” in 2017. Now, Delhiites have the chance to experience the artist’s live performance on April 27.

Indian artist Dot returns to the live music scene with her new tour, bringing her timeless act to the stage. Titled ‘Bangor to Bombay,’ the tour explores the indie musician’s journey from Wales to India, both musically and personally, promising a setlist of new energy with a touch of nostalgia and charm. Dot’s debut album, “Khamotion,” released in July 2021, received critical acclaim, followed by the 2022 singles ‘Pink Roller Skates’ and ‘Wes Anderson,’ which were previously available only on YouTube.

Dot’s new music continues to play with what she calls the “poetry of the ordinary,” taking its roots in lyrical jazz while simultaneously exploring pop, soul, and much more. Her latest single, “Indigo,” was released in March, with another single, “Wasted On You,” set to follow. In addition to her musical endeavors, Dot is also making her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film ‘The Archies,’ set to release in 2023.

Joining Dot on stage will be Shourya Malhotra, a performer, singer, and songwriter known for his enchanting guitar melodies and sandpaper-like whispering vocals. Malhotra’s music draws inspiration from artists like Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, Laura Marling, and Sufjan Stevens, creating ethereal soundscapes and nostalgic vocal melodies.

The concert will take place at Auro Kitchen Bar, with tickets starting at Rs. 999 available on BookMyShow and Paytm Insider.
