Delhi: 48 minors among 193 missing people reunited with families in June

The Delhi police has reunited 193 missing persons including 48 minors with their families during last month in southwest Delhi under the Operation Milap, an official said on Thursday.

A total of 866 missing persons including 226 minor were recovered so far in the first six months of year 2026.

The police said that they checked CCTV footage, put up photos at auto stands, bus stops and railway stations and also spoke to drivers, conductors and vendors.

Local informers were also used, and records at nearby police stations and hospitals were checked.

A senior police officer added that the June recoveries include one person from 2019, two from 2021, three from 2022, 16 from 2023, 20 from 2024, 34 from 2025, and 117 from 2026.
