A fire erupted in a building in Chandni Mahal area of north Delhi on Thursday afternoon, prompting the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) to deploy four fire tenders to the spot.
The department received the emergency call at 12:12 PM, officials said. “We rushed four fire tenders to the spot. Firefighting operations are underway,” a DFS official confirmed. No injuries or casualties have been reported so far.
In a separate incident late Wednesday night, a fire broke out in a multi-storey building near the police station in Sadar Bazar.
The DFS received a call at 9:23 PM about flames inside a structure used for multiple storage units. Three water tenders and one water bowser were initially dispatched, followed by two additional bowsers at 9:42 PM after a request from the team on site.
