The Delhi Board of School Education (DBSE) and Burlington English, a leading global provider of English language learning solutions, have signed a contract to assist children in acquiring language proficiency with a focus on the global community.

Through digital and offline interventions, the Innovation in Communication initiative seeks to support schools’ efforts to create an immersive environment for learning English while also enhancing the capacity of the relevant school instructors.

Burlington English released a statement on Thursday which stated that the DBSE recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with them. Due to the partnership, students will receive assistance in developing their English language proficiency on a worldwide scale, preparing them for the future with confidence – the statement said.

The collaboration creates a plethora of potential opportunities for students, according to Himanshu Gupta, Director of Education for the Government of the NCT of Delhi.

He said that they are happy to work together with Burlington English to offer students and teachers learning opportunities for the language. It’s crucial for students in the twenty-first century to be able to speak English with assurance.

In order to boost kids’ self-confidence and communication skills, an initiative called Project Voices has started in Delhi government schools, he added.

More than 200 students will receive comprehensive support for learning English language communication as a result of this partnership, which will be supported by deep technology, according to the statement.

On 23 July, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that the Delhi government will launch a free spoken English course, with the goal of training one lakh young people in its initial phase.
