Saxena said that the recruitment process was accelerated by the Delhi State Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (DSSSB), and an additional 20,000 government positions are expected to be filled by March 2025, addressing the significant vacancies across various Delhi government departments.

“We are committed to Hon’ble PM’s emphasis on ending adhocism in government jobs and creating opportunities for eligible candidates in a free, fair, and transparent manner,” the LG said in a post on X, congratulating the new hires.

In another post on X, he highlighted that with over 17,000 permanent recruits by DSSSB in the last two years, this number surpasses the total appointments made in the previous decade.
