As per the minister’s reply, the posts inducted include: Constable, teachers, lecturers, nurses, nursing officers, doctors, pharmacists, radiographers and other technical and paramedical posts, sub inspector, lower divisional clerk, steno, personal assistant, income tax inspectors, grameen dak sevak, multi tasking staff, among others.

He stated that the filling of vacancies is a continuous process and new vacancies come up when the existing ones are filled.

According to Singh, vacancies in a number of central government ministries/departments, as well as their affiliated and subordinate offices, are driven on by employee retirement, resignation, death, promotion, etc.

The minister said that the recruitment for these positions is occasionally undertaken by central ministries, departments, central public sector undertakings (PSUs), autonomous bodies, public sector banks, etc., either directly or through recruitment organisations like the Union Public Service Commission, Railway Recruitment Board, and Staff Selection Commission, etc.

In a separate reply, Singh said it is expected that Rozgar Mela will continue to act as a catalyst in further employment and self employment generation and provide gainful service opportunities to the youth.
