With the monsoon finally upon Delhi, the weather turns crisp and cool. What better time for flower lovers to venture into Delhi and find their heaven? These mandis offer some of the most vibrant flowers of the season at unbelievable prices. Want to know where to start? Here’s a list of five flower markets in the Capital that you must visit to surround yourself with a bit of colour.

Hybrid roses, cultivated in unique colours for ornamental purposes

Ghazipur

Famous for its collection of exotic flowers, the Ghazipur flower market is the best place to go for your monsoon flower needs. From the blues and purples of hydrangeas to the whites and yellows of lilies, the coming of monsoons fills this market with ethereal blooms. Tube roses, Rajnigandhas, and Mogra blooms also fill the market early morning. It is only at Ghazipur—the biggest flower market in the city—that you will also find Hydrangeas in shades of blue and lilac. These enchanting flowers are typically imported during the monsoons due to their affinity for cool, damp climates.
