
More than 42 per cent of the capital’s 1.45 crore voters have been distributed enumeration forms, while just over 1.4 per cent of completed forms have been digitised during the first six days of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Delhi electoral rolls, according to official data.
A total of 62,27,363 enumeration forms were distributed across the capital and 2,09,201 completed forms were digitised till Sunday evening, data shared by the office of the Delhi chief electoral officer (CEO) showed.
The distribution covered 42.92 per cent of Delhi’s 1,45,10,298 registered electors, while the digitised forms accounted for 1.44 per cent of the total electorate.
Meanwhile, the Delhi CEO’s office said in a post on X that former President Ram Nath Kovind submitted his filled enumeration form as part of the SIR 2026 exercise, which was received by the electoral registration officer (ERO) of the New Delhi assembly constituency.
The month-long door-to-door survey under SIR Phase III began June 30 and will continue till July 29.
Among districts, North East recorded the highest number of forms distributed at 8,19,265, followed by West (6,86,646), East (6,19,563), South (5,65,252) and South East (5,43,348).
In percentage terms, New Delhi led districts with 56.43 per cent electors covered, followed by North (51.54 per cent), Old Delhi (50.94 per cent) and North West (49.51 per cent).
South East recorded the lowest distribution percentage at 34.89 per cent, followed by Central (37.62 per cent), South West (37.94 per cent) and East (38.64 per cent).
In terms of digitisation, South West topped the list with 35,405 forms digitised, followed by Outer North (28,220), West (27,405), South (19,078) and Central North (15,831).
Percentage-wise, Outer North recorded the highest digitisation rate at 3.39 per cent, followed by South West (2.66 per cent), Central North (1.94 per cent) and West (1.88 per cent).
Central reported the lowest digitisation rate at 0.76 per cent, followed by East (0.77 per cent), Old Delhi (0.83 per cent) and North East (0.84 per cent).
As part of the SIR exercise, booth level officers (BLOs) are providing each voter with two copies of the enumeration form. One copy will remain with the voter as an acknowledgement, while the other will be collected by the BLO. No documents are required to be submitted along with the enumeration form.
The form must be filled by every voter for their names to be included in the final electoral roll scheduled to be published on October 7. Electors who do not submit the enumeration form will not find their names in the draft electoral roll to be published August 5, according to the CEO’s office.
