Ace cricketer Virat Kohli on Wednesday shared a video of his fitness regime on social media ahead of the Asia Cup 2022, leaving his followers thoroughly impressed.
In the video, the former Indian skipper can be seen working out in a gym with a rock music playing in the background. The power-packed video has him doing some weighted cleans and core workout, including nordic curls.
The 30-second video immediately garnered close to 50,000 likes on Twitter. His fans poured in their love for the batsman in the reply section.
Recently, Kohli said that he is likely to be seen next in action during the next month’s Asia Cup.
“Virat had spoken to selectors that he would be available from the Asia Cup onwards. The first team players will hardly get rest from Asia Cup till end of World T20. Hence this is a two-week window after Windies tour when they can rest,” a source told PTI.
The Asia Cup begins four days after the Zimbabwe tour (August 27).
In a recent interview with The Indian Express, Kohli said spoke about an atmosphere of stress that cricketers are constantly in. “The one thing that truly helps me unwind after a hectic season is spending time with my family. Apart from that, I love to spend time pursuing my hobbies. Travel is something that helps me de-stress a lot, and of course coffee; I believe that I am a coffee connoisseur and absolutely love trying out different flavours and coffee spots around the world,” he told the publication.
