
Spiritual connect
What: An abstract expressionist who discovers herself through her work, artist Dilraj Kaur paints her emotions on the canvas with childlike playfulness, while listening to spiritual songs. This is portrayed in the works of her upcoming solo exhibition, Anant ki Aur. The colours and textures reveal themselves to her according to her emotions. Her connection to nature has become stronger with this form of meditation, which makes her feel peaceful and content.

Captured beautifully in the 52-minute film, The F Word is a journey of self-discovery, discrimination, conformity, stereotyping and the filmmaker’s negotiation with a bad body image. Director Saba Rehman was born and brought up in Delhi in a home that got her acquainted with the dualities and complications in her identity, a perfect breeding ground for stories that need to be told. Catch her story in the monthly screenings of Kriti film club.
