Anantam Vinayakam, a solo exhibition by Kerala-based artist, sculptor and muralist Prasanth A V, is currently on view at Lalit Kala Akademi, Rabindra Bhavan, New Delhi, running until November 12.
The exhibition brings together paintings, sketches and mixed-media works that celebrate Lord Ganesha as a symbol of renewal, knowledge and creativity. Through vivid canvases and lyrical lines, Prasanth explores the many moods and myths surrounding the deity — from playful innocence to cosmic wisdom.
Blending the traditional aesthetics of Kerala mural art with a contemporary sensibility, the artist creates a dialogue between devotion and modern visual storytelling. “My work is a way to honour tradition while keeping it alive. Ganesha has many faces — playful, wise, fierce. Each painting is an invitation to slow down and notice,” says Prasanth.
According to the organisers, the exhibition highlights Prasanth’s mastery across mural, sculpture and experimental kinetic art, and includes selections from his acclaimed public works and award-winning sculptures.
