Eternal art

What: “The artist may die, but the art never dies”. The story of ‘Hanoosh’, portrays the life of a lock maker whose aim of making a clock is fulfilled after 17 years. However, on the king’s order, his eyes are removed so that he cannot make a clock of the same kind ever. The play tries to bring to light that there is a Hanoosh in all parts of the world even today, who strives to create something new with single-minded commitment. He endures all insults and nothing deters him. However, his efforts are only recognised when he is no longer alive to relish the recognition.
When: July 23 (7 pm)
Where: Shri Ram Centre, Mandi House
