Recreating Ramlila

The grand celebration includes modern music, sound, choreography, lighting and stage design, presenting a unique exuberance of mythology in a contemporary context. The title track of the show is sung by Udit Narayan and Ravan’s introduction is sung by Kailash Kher. Multi-layer LED screens give depth to the scenes and a 3D effect to all visuals.
When: October 13 – 18 (7 pm onwards)
Where: Netaji Subhash Place, Pitampura

Nature scape

What: Inspired by Nature’s grandeur, artist Rajesh Sharma has created a series of paintings put together in the exhibition Rockscape. Sharma travelled to Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kashmir, Scotland, Kerala and Rajasthan, and documented the sea, sky and land in different seasons in his paintings. The works on display are a reflection of these experiences, presenting Nature in all its splendour.

Twisted endings

The rich man obligingly fixes drinks for his guest (the killer) and himself, then sits across from the killer. Puzzled by his action at first, the killer soon is at ease with the old man. Things take a turn when each of them reveals their own gameplan. Is it a bluff? Who is playing with whom? To know more, watch Shatterproof, a thriller play with a touch of black humour.
