The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) is set to host “फन-Tastic 2025”, a landmark conclave dedicated to India’s fast-evolving live entertainment, events, and wedding industry. Scheduled for July 18, at PHD House in New Delhi, the day-long event is co-powered by Sun TV and supported by the Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA).

The summit aims to bring together top policymakers, entertainment technology innovators, event and wedding planners, and performers to explore critical issues shaping the sector, including innovation, sustainability, and intellectual property.

The event will be inaugurated by Delhi’s Tourism Minister, Kapil Mishra, who will deliver a keynote address outlining the capital’s growing potential as a hub for live events and destination weddings.

Highlighting the significance of the sector, Rajeev Jain, Chair of PHDCCI’s Entertainment Committee, said, “Aligned with Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a ‘Concert Economy’, we take immense pride in how India’s live entertainment, weddings, and large-scale events—from Diljit Dosanjh’s concerts to the Ambani wedding and Coldplay’s tour—are transforming into economic powerhouses that bolster tourism and public revenue. Delhi, with strong government support, can emerge as the epicentre of this vibrant event economy.”

Shalini S. Sharma, Assistant Secretary General of PHDCCI, noted, “Under the leadership of Hemant Jain and Dr Ranjeet Mehta, this initiative opens a new chapter for the industry. With Rajeev Jain’s guidance, the conclave will create a unified platform for voices from across the sector to shape a more resilient and impactful future.”

She added, “फन-Tastic 2025 is not just a summit—it is a defining moment for India’s live entertainment and event ecosystem.”

The event will also feature an exclusive “Funtastic Chat” with Sabbas Joseph, Co-Founder of the Wizcraft Group, where he will outline his vision for the future of live entertainment in India.

In a panel focused on music licensing, Ankur Kalra, General Secretary of EEMA and MD of Vibgyor, will engage with Sanjay Tandon, Founder & MD of ISAMRA, and Senior Advocate Abhishek Malhotra to discuss the legal and commercial challenges facing performers and organisers.

Adding a personal dimension to the day’s discussions, popular television anchor Gitika Ganju Dhar will lead a candid conversation with singers Dr Palash Sen, Jasbir Jassi, and Suryaveer about the daily struggles of artists working in the live performance industry. The session will also feature live performances from the trio.
