
Jashn-e-Sukhan will host young poets of NCR
Poetry enthusiasts in Delhi NCR will participate in the the inaugural edition of “Jashn-e-Sukhan,” a unique poetry event set at Gurgaon’s favourite hangout DLF CyberHub on March 16 to commemorate the upcoming World Poetry Day.
Translating into the “celebration of spoken words,” this event promises to be a mesmerising ode to the power of poetry in the heart of India’s cultural capital.
In line with the emerging wave of poets in Delhi NCR, “Jashn-e-Sukhan” aims to showcase the diverse talent and vibrant poetic landscape of the region. This first-of-its-kind event will feature a collective of nine renowned and budding poets from Delhi NCR’s literati each bringing their unique style and perspective to the stage.

Audiences can expect a captivating blend of spoken word performances, recitations, and interactive sessions, providing an immersive experience for poetry enthusiasts of all ages.
World Poetry Day is celebrated annually on March 21st to promote the reading, writing, publishing, and teaching of poetry worldwide. Recognised by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) since 1999, this day serves as an opportunity to honor the contributions of poets and promote cultural dialogue through the universal language of poetry.
