Swaranjali Delhi, in collaboration with Dhwani Foundation, is gearing up to host the Swar Dhwani Festival 2024, a vibrant celebration spotlighting the richness of Indian classical music. This much-anticipated event is set to take place at CD Deshmukh Auditorium. The festival is scheduled to run from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM on January 7, 2024.
The festival boasts an impressive lineup of performances featuring artists and promising talents within the realm of classical music. The scheduled performances encompass captivating solo acts and enchanting duets, showcasing a diverse range of instruments and vocal renditions.
Highlighted participants include Ruddraksh Srivastava on Tabla, accompanied by Akram Hussain on Sarangi; Manideep Mittra on Guitar paired with Amritesh Shandilya on Tabla; Pt Chetan Joshi and Dr Bipul Kumar Ray presenting a Flute and Santoor Duet. Moreover, the festival will feature performances by other talented artists like Saniya Patankar, Subhrata De, Iman Das, among others, each accompanied by adept musicians playing traditional instruments such as Tabla, Harmonium, Sitar, and Pakhawaj.
Expressing his anticipation for the upcoming event, flutist Chetan Joshi said, “I will present a jugalbandi along with the young and talented Bipul Kumar Roy on flute and santoor respectively. Siddharth Chakraborty and Shri Ankit Parekh will accompany us on Tabla and Pakhawaj respectively. Looking forward to a new memorable experience”.
The festival aims to provide a platform for both established and emerging artists to showcase their talent, while also offering an enjoyable musical experience for the audience.
