This solo exhibition features an extensive body of work by artist Priyaranjan Purkait and explores the aesthetic side of the Sunderbans through his artistic vision.
The exhibition marks Purkait’s first solo showing in Delhi NCR and includes over 30 artworks, such as paintings and drawings developed between 2016 and 2024.
It will also release a publication titled The Will to Live, edited by Premjish Achari.
During the show, visitors can participate in a curatorial walkthrough with the artist, who connects personal stories and ancestral practices with the socio-economic conditions of his native Sunderbans.
