Tickets to the India-Afghanistan Cricket World Cup match at the Ferozeshah Kotla grounds of the Arun Jaitley Stadium next month have been sold out while tickets to the remaining four matches in Delhi, which do not involve India, still remain unsold.

BookMyShow have been tasked with the sale of tickets for all the 10 venues for main round World Cup matches and two exclusive venues for warm-up games.

India’s game against Afghanistan on October 11 is the home team’s only match in Delhi. The other four matches feature South Africa and Sri Lanka on October 7, England and Afghanistan on October 15, Netherlands and Australia on October 25 and Asian rivals Sri Lanka and Bangladesh on November 6.

Not surprisingly, tickets to all of India’s World Cup matches at different venues – Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Dharamsala, Lucknow, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru besides Delhi – have also been sold out.

Even India’s warm-up match against England in Guwahati on September 30 is sold out.

If there are India fans still wanting to watch the Men in Blue play, they will have to travel to Thiruvananthapuram for the October 3 warm-up tie against Associate nation, Netherlands since that is the only India game that remains unsold.

In Delhi, the non-India matches have a limited number of tickets available as of September 15 evening. The Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500 tickets for East Stand, North East Stand and North West Stand are still on sale for all the non-India matches.

There are lowest category Rs 750 tickets available for non-India games too, but only for the Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka and Netherlands and Australia matches.

The high-end tickets worth Rs 5,000 and Rs 6,500 have been sold out for all the matches.
