Apple is set to enhance its Apple Intelligence system with support for more languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Chinese. Additionally, localized English versions for India and Singapore could mean support for Hinglish, a popular mix of Hindi and English.

These language expansions will be available worldwide following the release of iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4. Developers will begin testing these features in April, offering insights into the system’s multilingual capabilities.

Apple Intelligence Expands Accessibility

For the first time, iPhone and iPad users in the EU will gain access to Apple Intelligence, marking a significant expansion. In the U.S., Apple’s AI suite will also be available on Vision, enhancing user experiences by enabling smarter interactions and improved collaboration.

Stronger AI Privacy Measures

Apple Intelligence is designed with a strong focus on privacy, ensuring that most processing happens on-device rather than in the cloud. The system utilizes Private Cloud Compute, which extends Apple’s security measures, safeguarding user data while enabling AI-powered features.

Siri Gets Smarter

A key highlight of iOS 18.4 is the expected improvement of Siri, making it more intuitive and responsive to user preferences. The AI-powered assistant will provide more contextual and personalized responses, improving user interactions.

While iOS 18.4 is expected to bring major advancements, Apple has yet to release a developer or beta version of the update. However, Apple Intelligence will continue evolving, with more features and enhanced AI capabilities planned for the coming months.
