A unified streaming experience

Impact on Existing Subscribers

JioCinema premium users:

Current JioCinema Premium subscribers will automatically transition to JioHotstar Premium for the remaining duration of their existing plans. Upon expiration, users will need to choose from the new JioHotstar subscription options.

Disney+ Hotstar subscribers:

Disney+ Hotstar subscribers can continue to access their content under their existing plans for the next three months without any changes. After this period, they will also have the option to migrate to JioHotstar plans.

AI-Powered personalisation and multilingual support

JioHotstar is designed to enhance user experience through advanced AI-driven recommendations. The platform will analyse viewing habits to suggest personalised content across movies, shows, and other categories. Additionally, it supports streaming in more than 19 languages, catering to India’s diverse linguistic landscape.

Kiran Mani, CEO of Digital at JioStar, shared the company’s vision: “Our mission with JioHotstar is to democratise premium entertainment for all Indians. By integrating AI technology and offering multilingual streaming, we aim to personalise content like never before.”
