According to the Ministry website, the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive continues to progress with 220.65 crore doses administered so far.

In Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will hold a meeting on Friday to review the COVID-19 situation in the national capital amid a spurt in cases.

Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj and senior officials will be present at the meeting. The review will hold following a mock drill conducted in government-run hospitals last week, and measures taken by other states experiencing a spike in cases were also discussed.

On Thursday, Delhi reported 295 fresh COVID-19 cases with a positivity rate of 12.48%. The city logged 300 cases on Wednesday, the first time since August 31, with two deaths, while the positivity rate had jumped to 13.89%.
