In northeast Delhi’s Bhajanpura area, a 19-year-old coffee shop owner, Karan Jha, tragically lost his life after being stabbed by two assailants on Tuesday evening, police said.
Jha, a resident of Bhajanpura, was attacked in Yamuna Vihar around 4:30 pm, sustaining multiple stab wounds to his chest, thigh, palm, and foot.
Despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. Accompanied by his friend Madhav Goel (20) on a scooty, Jha was ambushed by the attackers.
Based on Goel’s testimony, authorities have launched a murder investigation and deployed teams to apprehend the perpetrators.
Jha, known for running a coffee shop in Bhajanpura, leaves behind questions about the motive behind the attack, with initial suspicions pointing to personal vendetta, though robbery hasn’t been ruled out. (With inputs from PTI)
