Three men were arrested for producing and supplying fake Indian currency notes in the Dwarka area of southwest Delhi, police said.
The arrested men—Anas Khan (20), Aman Kumar (25), and Vikas Kumar (24)—were found in possession of Rs 1.40 lakh in fake 200-rupee notes, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Ankit Singh.
The police received a tip-off on August 5 that Anas Khan would be delivering counterfeit notes near the Dwarka Mor metro station. Acting on this information, they apprehended him at the location. During a search, 301 fake 200-rupee notes were recovered from Khan.
Following the registration of an FIR and initiation of the investigation, Khan revealed that he had been supplying counterfeit currency after connecting with someone through social media. On August 6, based on Khan’s information, Vikas Kumar and Aman Kumar were arrested at Peeragarhi metro station while they were attempting to deliver more fake currency.

Police also noted that Vikas Kumar had previously been arrested in Hisar, Haryana. From Vikas Kumar’s residence in DCM Colony, police seized three mobile phones and equipment used for printing fake currency, including two printers, a laptop, a frame, a watermark, and ink.
