Bharat Sanskriti Yatra: Three-day classical music festival in Delhi

A three-day celebration of India’s classical music heritage featuring maestros, rising talents, and soulful traditions

The Hindusthan Art & Music Society will present the 32nd concert of its 2024–25 season under the Bharat Sanskriti Yatra banner from August 8 to 10 at Godavari Auditorium, Andhra Association, Lodhi Road. The performances will begin at 6:30 PM each evening. Admission is free and open to all.

Now in its 557th edition overall, Bharat Sanskriti Yatra is organised in cooperation with Lokmanya and under the National Presence Scheme of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The concert series celebrates India’s classical music traditions through vocal, instrumental and dance performances by some of the country’s most respected artists.

This year’s line-up features Padma Bhushan Pt. Vishwamohan Bhatt and Pt. Salil Bhatt (Mohan Veena and Satvik Veena jugalbandi), tabla legends Pt. Anindo Chatterjee and Ustad Akram Khan, flautist Padma Shri Ronu Majumder, violinist Pt. Mysore Manjunath, and many others. The programme also includes classical dance by Vidushi Kavita Dwivedi (Odissi) and Vidushi Samira Kaser (Kathak), along with ensemble support on harmonium, tabla and pakhawaj.

Organised by the Hindusthan Art & Music Society, the festival brings together senior maestros and emerging performers from across India, offering audiences a rich and varied exploration of Hindustani classical traditions.
