Three African nationals have been detained in Nihal Vihar area of outer Delhi for allegedly overstaying their visas, police said on Thursday.
The action followed a routine patrol by a police team on Shukar Bazar Road in Chander Vihar on Wednesday. During verification, officers intercepted a group of foreigners and found that three of them were living in the city without valid documents.
The men were identified as Christian Emuh, a resident of Ghana; Steven Anthony, from Sierra Leone; and Mohamed Niang, from Senegal. Police said their visas had expired, and they had been residing in Delhi illegally.
