The evening of music, storytelling and nostalgia to be held at CD Deshmukh Auditorium in the national capital Delhi

A curated cultural evening celebrating the richness of Punjabi folk traditions will be held in the national capital on Tuesday, bringing together songs, storytelling and shared memories under one roof.

Titled Gallan te Geet, the event aims to showcase the essence of Punjab’s cultural heritage through performances that blend folk songs with oral narratives, evoking nostalgia and community spirit.

Former Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture Meenakshi Lekhi will attend the programme as the chief guest.

The event will take place at the CD Deshmukh Auditorium on Lodhi Road, with proceedings scheduled to begin at 7 pm. Attendees have been requested to be seated by 6:45 pm.

Organisers said the evening seeks to create a space for audiences to reconnect with traditional Punjabi art forms while celebrating the spirit of togetherness through music and storytelling.
