Delhi woke up to clear skies on Friday, with the minimum temperature settling at 23.2 degrees Celsius, 0.1 degrees below the season’s average.
Station-wise data showed that the Ridge recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 21.2 degrees Celsius, 1.7 degrees below normal, followed by Lodhi Road at 22.3 degrees Celsius, 0.3 degrees above normal.
Palam recorded a minimum of 22.5 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal, while Ayanagar registered 22.8 degrees Celsius, 0.2 degrees above normal, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 34 degrees Celsius, with mainly clear skies forecast for the day, the weather office predicted.
The relative humidity was recorded at 55 per cent during the morning hours.

Delhi’s air quality index (AQI) stood at 173 at 9.30 am, placing it in the ‘moderate’ category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
Under the CPCB’s AQI scale, a reading of 0-50 is considered ‘good’, 51-100 ‘satisfactory’, 101-200 ‘moderate’, 201-300 ‘poor’, 301-400 ‘very poor’ and 401-500 ‘severe’.
