Ravneet Singh Bittu, a prominent figure in the Punjab Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ranks, found himself at the center of attention as he ventured on an unexpected journey to the Prime Minister’s residence in New Delhi. Speculation surrounding his potential inclusion in the Union Council of Ministers swirled amidst his abrupt decision to abandon his vehicle and traverse the bustling streets of the capital city on foot.

The scene unfolded dramatically as Bittu’s car became ensnared in Delhi’s infamous traffic gridlock, prompting the seasoned politician to opt for an unconventional mode of transportation. In a video that quickly made rounds on social media, Bittu, adorned in a distinctive pink turban and formal attire, navigated his way through the congested streets with an air of determination, flanked by his security detail.

The footage, shared by news agency IANS, captured the essence of Bittu’s impromptu journey as he steadfastly made his way towards the Prime Minister’s residence. Despite the unforeseen setback, Bittu’s resolute stride painted a picture of unwavering commitment and dedication to his cause.

While the reason behind Bittu’s visit to the PM’s residence remains undisclosed, speculation is rife regarding his potential induction into the coveted Council of Ministers. Reports suggest that Bittu is among several BJP leaders slated to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s team, alongside notable figures such as Manohar Lal Khattar and Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Bittu’s journey to national prominence has been marked by a series of noteworthy developments. Formerly associated with the Congress party, Bittu made headlines in 2024 when he contested Lok Sabha elections under the BJP banner. Hailing from a distinguished political lineage as the grandson of former Punjab CM Beant Singh, Bittu’s decision to switch allegiances earlier this year signified a significant shift in his political trajectory.
