Other districts showed varying turnout rates, with South West witnessing 35.44 per cent, New Delhi 29.89 per cent, East 33.66 per cent, North 32.44 per cent, and North West 33.17 per cent. Shahdara recorded 35.81 per cent, South 32.67 per cent, South East 32.27 per cent, and West 30.87 per cent.

Polling is underway at 13,766 stations across the capital, with 699 candidates competing for the 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is aiming for a third consecutive term, largely due to its governance track record and welfare schemes. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress are hoping to make a comeback in the Assembly.

Polling began at 7 am and will continue until 6 pm. The votes will be counted on February 8. In the 2020 elections, AAP had won 62 seats, while BJP secured 8, and Congress failed to win any seats. In the 2015 elections, AAP had an even more dominant performance, securing 67 seats, with BJP winning only 3 and Congress failing to win any.
