The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is aiming for a third consecutive term, largely due to its governance track record and welfare schemes. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress are hoping to make a comeback in the Assembly.
Polling began at 7 am and will continue until 6 pm. The votes will be counted on February 8. In the 2020 elections, AAP had won 62 seats, while BJP secured 8, and Congress failed to win any seats. In the 2015 elections, AAP had an even more dominant performance, securing 67 seats, with BJP winning only 3 and Congress failing to win any.
