Delhi began the day on a pleasant note, with morning temperatures rising steadily to 30°C by noon
A light breeze at 14 km/h and low humidity (41%) kept conditions relatively comfortable. By evening, temperatures are expected to drop to around 25°C, making for a mild night.
Pollution levels remain a concern. Yesterday, PM2.5 levels stood at 87 µg/m³ and PM10 reached 175 µg/m³—both well above safe limits. Carbon monoxide levels also peaked at 528 µg/m³, potentially causing breathing issues, especially for vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, and those with respiratory conditions.

Clear skies and light winds today may help disperse some of the pollutants, but commuters are still advised to wear masks during peak traffic hours. Sunscreen and other sun protection are also recommended for those spending time outdoors during the day.
The rest of the week will see stable, sunny weather. Daytime temperatures are expected to hover between 31°C and 33°C, while nights will stay cooler at 23°C to 25°C. Humidity will remain low, and no rain is forecast for the coming days.
October 15, in particular, is expected to offer ideal conditions for outdoor activities, with a high of 32.9°C and dry air enhancing comfort.
Yesterday’s AQI reading of 201 marked the highest this month, underscoring the need for continued caution regarding air quality.
