Eyes Say It All

Dipak Kumar Ghosh, an accomplished artist, will be holding his latest exhibition ‘Eyes Say It All’, featuring 60 unique portraits in charcoal, acrylic, and water colour. His fascination with eyes has inspired him to create a plethora of subjects that reflect different facets of life. Ghosh believes that eyes are the windows to the soul, and even in the briefest moments, they can convey volumes of emotions and experiences.

Throughout his career, Ghosh has experimented with different mediums, including oil pastels, paint, and acrylics. He is also adept at digital art and is continually looking for ways to make his art more accessible to everyone. In this exhibition, he will display portraits  of  famous personalities such as Rabindranath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda, Albert Einstein, Mother Teresa, and A.P.J Abdul Kalam, all of which feature strikingly expressive eyes.

The exhibition will showcase Ghosh’s ability to capture the soulful essence of his subjects in each brushstroke. His portraits reflect a wide range of emotions, from exuberance to profound grief and everything in between.

Ghosh’s experience and expertise in his craft are evident in the meticulous attention he pays to every stroke.

Ghosh’s passion for his work extends beyond the canvas. He believes that art can be a powerful tool for social change and is deeply involved in nurturing young talents. He has mentored many underprivileged children, helping them explore their potential and achieve successful careers in the arts.

“I genuinely believe the eyes disclose the true spirit of a person,” Ghosh says. For him, a single glance can reveal a person’s past, present, and future. Through his art, he strives to capture this essence and convey it on a pristine canvas. “While it’s difficult to layer emotions in a photograph, I can achieve this on canvas,” he explains.

“Every stroke speaks to me – the subject, emotions, world, and even the universe – and capturing that in my art is my lifelong inspiration and motivation,” he added.
