Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and director Rohit Shetty, stars of the upcoming film “Singham Again”, will participate in the Ravan Dahan ceremony at Delhi’s renowned Lav Kush Ramleela on Dussehra this Saturday.

The event, held annually at the historic Red Fort for the past 50 years, will see the trio marking the triumph of good over evil. Arjun Singh, president of the Lav Kush Ramleela Committee, confirmed their involvement, stating, “We invited ‘Singham Again’ director Rohit Shetty along with Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan, and they have graciously accepted to perform the Ravan Dahan on October 12”.

Devgn last performed the Ravan Dahan at the same event in 2016.

“Singham Again”, scheduled for release during Diwali, also features Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. At the trailer launch in Mumbai, Kareena Kapoor expressed her honor in portraying Sita in the film, while Kapoor described his role as a modern-day Ravan in what he calls the “modern-day interpretation of Ramayana”.

Notably, last year Kangana Ranaut became the first woman to perform the Ravan Dahan, setting the effigy alight with an arrow.
