Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal paid heartfelt tributes to Ratan Tata on Thursday, praising his enduring legacy and remembering his humility and dedication to his work.
Ratan Naval Tata, the former chairman of Tata Group, passed away at Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai at 11:30 pm on Wednesday, at the age of 86.
AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal remarked that India has lost a true “Ratan” (gem), a man who made the impossible possible. Kejriwal added on X that Tata’s legacy will serve as an inspiration for generations to come.
In a social media post, LG Saxena wrote, “#RatanTata! You not only carried forward the vast legacies you inherited, but also enriched and expanded them. My deepest tributes and condolences. India will forever remember you.”
Atishi, in her own post on X, highlighted Ratan Tata’s embodiment of ethical leadership, always prioritizing the welfare of the country and its people. “His kindness, humility, and passion for making a difference will be remembered forever. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. His legacy will continue to inspire generations,” the Delhi Chief Minister said.
Describing the news of the demise of India’s great industrialist and source of inspiration as heartbreaking, AAP Senior Leader Manish Sisodia said, “He was not just an industrialist but an ideal and a source of inspiration for millions. His generosity, spirit of service, and social contributions will always remain immortal in our hearts. His personality teaches us how to maintain a balance of humility and humanity with success.”
“His loyalty and dedication towards society and country will always be remembered. May God give peace to his soul and give strength to his family and fans to bear this immense sorrow,” he added.
“Honesty, truth in business, and taking care of everyone’s interests are the identity of “Tata.” It is sad to see a noble person leave this world. Humble tribute to Ratan Tata ji. May God give place to his holy soul at his feet,” AAP’s Sanjay Singh posted on X.
