Consuming highly saline water, residents of Barwala, Sandesh Vihar, Najafgarh fall sick

A recent report by the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) has revealed that Delhi’s groundwater is highly saline, with elevated levels of electrical conductivity (EC) across many areas. The report, submitted to the National Green Tribunal (NGT) last month, highlights the concerning state of fluctuating groundwater quality in the national capital.
