Delhi experienced a warm morning on Tuesday as the minimum temperature settled at 29.2 degrees Celsius, 1.6 degrees above the season’s average.
Among other weather stations in the national capital, Palam recorded a minimum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, 0.2 degrees below normal, while Lodhi Road registered 27.4 degrees Celsius, 0.4 degrees above normal.
The Ridge station recorded a minimum temperature of 28.3 degrees Celsius, 0.7 degrees above normal, and Ayanagar logged 28 degrees Celsius, 0.5 degrees above normal, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The weather office has forecast a maximum temperature of around 43 degrees Celsius for the day. Strong surface winds are likely during daytime hours, it said.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 161 at 9 am on Tuesday, placing it in the moderate category.

According to the CPCB, an AQI between 0 and 50 is considered “good”, 51 and 100 “satisfactory”, 101 and 200 “moderate”, 201 and 300 “poor”, 301 and 400 “very poor”, and 401 and 500 “severe”.
