A new solo art exhibition by artist Harmandeep Keerti has opened at Triveni Art Gallery, Tansen Marg, Mandi House. Titled Begumpura – shoots and leaves, the show runs from July 21 to 31, and features 28 detailed pen and ink drawings inspired by nature and the idea of a peaceful, ideal world.
The title of the show comes from Begumpura, a concept imagined by 15th-century poet-saint Guru Ravidas—a place without sorrow or pain. Harmandeep Keerti brings this idea to life through his quiet and thoughtful drawings of trees, leaves, and natural landscapes.
Most of the works are based on what the artist observed in his hometown Saharanpur. Using fine lines and careful detail, he captures how nature changes with seasons and light. While many drawings are on plain off-white paper, some also use soft pastel colours to bring a gentle emotion to the scenes.

The exhibition is open daily from 11 AM to 7 PM, and entry is free. Calm, romantic, and full of hope, Begumpura – shoots and leaves invites visitors to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the natural world.
