Gharana Festival: Indian classical nights

The two-day Gharana festival will honour the exceptional contributions of two maestros, Pandit Suresh Talwalkar and Pandit Sajan Mishra, with prestigious Lifetime Achievement Awards from Swaranjali.

It is scheduled for December 22 and 23 at Amaltas Hall, India Habitat Centre. The festivities will commence at 7 pm on both the days.

This is the 16th edition of the Gharana festival presented by Swaranjali, where music enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Indian classical melodies and rhythms of Different Gharanas.

Day 1: Vidhushi Tulika Ghosh (Renowned Vocalist from Mumbai); Pandit Ramdas Palsule (Tabla (Solo) Maestro from Pune)

Day 2: Pandit Shounak Abhishek and Abhed Abhishek (Vocalists from Pune); Subrata De (Solo Sitar Recital)

Accompanying Artists: Susamoy Mishra, Durjay Bhowmik, Pradip Sarkar (Tabla); Sumit Mishra, Lalit Sisodia (Harmonium)

Swaranjali Delhi is a cultural organisation dedicated to promoting and preserving the heritage of classical music in India since 2000.
