Natkhat Utsav, a cultural festival celebrating the creativity of children trained under Natkhat Utsav 2026, will be inaugurated at the All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society (AIFACS) on June 27. Organised by the Sahitya Kala Parishad, Government of Delhi, the festival marks the culmination of a series of workshops in fine arts, music, dance and theatre conducted across Delhi.
Around 2,000 children participated in the workshops, which were organised in collaboration with the Directorate of Education, primarily in government schools. Conducted under the guidance of 32 Directors and 32 Assistant Directors, the programme aimed to nurture children’s artistic abilities, cultural awareness and creative expression.
The festival will feature an exhibition of selected artworks created during the workshops alongside music, dance and theatre performances by young participants. The exhibition highlights the imagination and artistic vision of the children, while the performances reflect the skills developed during the training sessions.
The inauguration will be attended by Delhi’s Minister for Art and Culture, Kapil Mishra, who will honour the Directors, Assistant Directors and Coordinators with certificates. The event also includes presentations showcasing India’s cultural heritage through children’s creative expressions.
