TiE Delhi-NCR, one of India’s leading startup ecosystem enablers and a flagship chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), is set to host the first-ever Student Entrepreneurship Summit 2025 on June 20 at Amity University, Noida. Designed as a dynamic platform to inspire and equip the next generation of innovators, the summit will bring together over 400 students from high schools and colleges across more than 50 institutions nationwide.
Aimed at empowering young changemakers, the one-day summit will offer keynote addresses, panel discussions, startup showcases, hands-on masterclasses, and awards. It promises students a deep dive into the world of startups, bridging the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world entrepreneurial experience.
“With student entrepreneurship gaining national momentum, we believe this summit will serve as a launchpad for India’s future leaders. These young minds aren’t just dreaming — they are building,” said Geetika Dayal, Executive Director, TiE Delhi-NCR. “We’ve been nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs for over a decade through the TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) programme, and the results speak for themselves.”
One of the major highlights will be a fireside chat with Nehal Wadhera, cricketer and rising star of the Punjab Kings, exploring themes of resilience, ambition, and breaking barriers. Other prominent speakers include R Satya Narayanan, Founder & Chairman of CareerLauncher, Deepak Gupta, Co-founder & COO of Bombay Shaving Company, and Anoushka Jolly, founder of the Kavach App.
Throughout the day, students will engage with startup founders, venture capitalists, educators, and policy influencers, gaining practical insights and exposure to themes such as branding, investor pitching, and leveraging new-age media.
In addition to speaker sessions, the summit will host a live startup showcase featuring ventures led by school students — including Arsh Choudhary (Grade 12, Jayshree Periwal International School, Jaipur), founder of Naayika, and Prasan Batra (Grade 12, Vasant Valley School, Delhi), founder of InterNet and Kinetic Kick. These student-led businesses will present their pitches before a jury of mentors and investors, receiving real-time feedback on their ideas and execution.
The summit will also shine a spotlight on TiE Delhi-NCR’s flagship youth initiative, the TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) programme — a globally acclaimed initiative for students from Grades 9 to 12. TYE combines entrepreneurship education with hands-on training, allowing participants to form teams, build business plans, and present them to real-world entrepreneurs and investors. Top teams from regional chapters earn the opportunity to compete in the TYE Global Competition, where $10,000 in prizes are up for grabs.
“TYE goes beyond theory — it helps students build leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills. It’s a programme that’s shaping future-ready youth,” said Dayal.
The summit comes at a time when India’s youth are increasingly moving away from traditional career paths, instead seeking to build ventures that create social impact and solve pressing challenges through innovation.
With a legacy spanning more than two decades, TiE Delhi-NCR continues to lead in promoting entrepreneurship across India — from early-stage startups to high-impact mentoring and investor platforms. Through events like TiEcon Delhi, India Internet Day, and now the Student Entrepreneurship Summit, the chapter is expanding its focus on nurturing young talent.
Registrations are now open for students, educators, and institutions.
