Samsung continues to stand out as one of the few Android manufacturers committed to extended software support across its range of devices — whether budget, mid-range or premium. If you’re in the market for a reliable Samsung phone under Rs 50,000, here are five models worth considering, each promising years of updates and strong performance.

Galaxy F06 5G – A 5G Bargain Under Rs 10,000

The Galaxy F06, launched earlier this year, marks Samsung’s most affordable 5G offering yet, priced at Rs 9,199 for the base variant. Powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset — the same as in the higher-end Galaxy M16 — the F06 comes with Android 15 and Samsung’s One UI 7 out of the box. The company promises four years of operating system and security updates, making it a standout in the entry-level segment.

Design-wise, the phone features a distinctive elliptical camera island with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP macro/depth lens. It includes 128GB of expandable storage. While the 4GB RAM version is the most affordable, the 6GB RAM variant at Rs 10,699 offers better performance for just a modest increase in price.

Galaxy M35 – A Solid All-Rounder

Launched last year, the Galaxy M35 remains a compelling mid-range option, priced from Rs 14,397. The phone sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ sAMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the capable Exynos 1380 processor — the same chip used in the Galaxy A36.

You get up to 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of storage (expandable), and a capable camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. A large 6,000mAh battery and 25W wired charging ensure long battery life. At 222 grams, it’s slightly bulky, but offers excellent value and longevity.

Galaxy M56 – Slim, Stylish, and Built to Last

The newly introduced Galaxy M56 brings premium features to the mid-range. Priced at Rs 24,999, it’s powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset and features a spacious 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection on both sides.

At just 7.2mm thick and weighing only 182 grams, it’s one of Samsung’s slimmest phones in this segment. The M56 runs Android 15 with One UI 7 and promises six years of software and security updates. It comes with a 5,000mAh battery, a triple rear camera system (50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro), and is available on Amazon starting April 23.

Galaxy A56 – Premium Look with Years of Support

If you’re after a sleek, premium mid-range device, the Galaxy A56 is a strong contender. Running on the Exynos 1580 processor, it features a bright and vivid 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The A56 ships with One UI 7 on Android 15 and is backed by a six-year update policy. It also includes most Galaxy AI features, barring some S series exclusives. Its triple-camera setup includes a 50MP main lens, 8MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro shooter, though it lacks a telephoto option. A 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging keeps it powered through the day. Prices start at Rs 38,999.

Galaxy S24 FE – Flagship Features on a Budget

At Rs 41,999, the Galaxy S24 FE offers a near-flagship experience at a more accessible price. It is powered by the Exynos 2400e chipset — a slightly toned-down version of Samsung’s top-tier processor — and includes a full suite of Galaxy AI tools.

It boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and comes with a 4,700mAh battery supporting 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. The triple-camera array features a 50MP main sensor, 12MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. Although it ships with Android 14 (One UI 6.1), it is eligible for seven years of software updates, matching the flagship S series.
