Oppo has added a new device to its A-series lineup with the launch of the Oppo A5x 5G in India. Targeted at budget-conscious buyers, the smartphone brings military-grade toughness, a massive battery, and fast charging—all at an accessible price of Rs 13,999.

The Oppo A5x 5G is designed to withstand harsh conditions, boasting MIL-STD certification for shock, moisture and temperature resistance, along with an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water. These durability credentials position the handset as one of the most rugged options in its price segment.

Performance and Display

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, the A5x 5G pairs 4GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD card. It features a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 720×1604 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1000 nits peak brightness, offering smooth visuals even in bright sunlight.

Software and Camera

The device runs Android 15 layered with ColorOS 15, Oppo’s custom UI. On the camera front, the A5x 5G sports a 32MP rear camera for clear photos and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner adds an extra layer of security.

Battery That Keeps Up

A standout feature of the Oppo A5x 5G is its 6000mAh battery, promising extended usage without frequent charging. The phone supports 45W fast charging, and Oppo claims it can reach 30% charge in just 20 minutes, ideal for users on the go.

Availability and Launch Offers

The Oppo A5x 5G will be available in Midnight Blue and Laser White colour variants starting May 25. It can be purchased online from Amazon.in, Flipkart, and the Oppo e-Store, as well as offline via authorised retail outlets.
