Oppo has added a new device to its A-series lineup with the launch of the Oppo A5x 5G in India. Targeted at budget-conscious buyers, the smartphone brings military-grade toughness, a massive battery, and fast charging—all at an accessible price of Rs 13,999.
The Oppo A5x 5G is designed to withstand harsh conditions, boasting MIL-STD certification for shock, moisture and temperature resistance, along with an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water. These durability credentials position the handset as one of the most rugged options in its price segment.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, the A5x 5G pairs 4GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD card.
